Northwest Trek field trip!

Enumclaw Christmas Parade 2012

It was a great turn out for the annual Enumclaw Christmas Parade this year! Wind and chill couldn't keep all the happy Whos away from the Whoville themed event down at Cole St in Enumclaw.

With bags full of candy and hearts full of cheer Enumclaw Adventures made their debut at this years parade!

Art Art Art!

Enumclaw school district is having half days and therefore Enumclaw Adventures is have craft days! That's right, we have set up our very own creation stations, a whirlwind of artistry, ingenuity and fun fun fun!

Field trip fun!

With the recent non-school days in Enumclaw school district a few of our Enumclaw Adventures kids have been able to enjoy a couple fabulous field trip days...

CREATION STATION!

 

Creation Station is an innovative crafts store and art studio located in Lynnwood. They are a unique blend of recycling and retail.  Their art studio is filled with recycled items for the sole purpose of kids designing and creating fun recyled art. The kids get 2 hours to create whatever and however many things they would like to take home. We all had a great time turning on our creative thinking caps and becoming the next Picassos.

Pump it up!
Pump it up is an indoor arena filled with gigantic inflatable play areas. They have several locations but we visited the Tacoma location and got out bounce on!

Non-School Days

Hello Friends!
As we are approaching the holiday season....let's take that back....as we are IN the holiday season, there are many upcoming non-school days and breaks for kids in the community.

Enumclaw Adventures will be open and operating on many of these upcoming non-school days from 7am-6:30pm. We have lots of fun activities planned and even some exciting field trips in store! Please feel free to contact Meg at (702) 723-6342 for more information.

Enumclaw Adventures will also be partnering with the city of Enumclaw during winter break to offer care 7:30am-5:30pm. More information on our theme and schedule coming soon!

September 2012

It was our first week at Enumclaw Adventures and boy did we have a blast! It was filled with freeze dance, nature walks, periscope making, homerunners (homework club) and much more!

Every Friday is "Fabulous Friday". This means on Fridays we have some special priviledges and treats such as a surprise snack, kids choice games and kids choice art project.

On our very first Fabulous Friday the kids chose a very fun and creative art project...let's take a look...

Welcome!

Welcome to the Enumclaw Adventures Before and After School Program blog! This will be a place for Enumclaw Adventures to talk about upcoming events, updates to the program, post pictures and much more!

Enumclaw Adventures opened in the fall of 2012 at the Cedar River Academy Campus (3333 Griffin Avenue Enumclaw, WA 98022). Meg Schrag is the founder and director of this before and after school program.

Each day at Enumclaw Adventures is...well...an adventure! We have a snack each day, play group games, do our homework, create art projects and of course have a lot of fun!
